The Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators (MAVA) is a professional association of educational leaders who administer career and technical programs in Massachusetts schools

Our Mission

To support a performance-based delivery model that results in academic and technical proficiency for all students;

To improve instruction through experiential learning that integrates both academic and career and technical performance standards;

To provide professional development activities that support career and technical educators, honor accomplishments, and advance professional and organizational leadership goals;

To advocate for career and technical education that is respected and valued, aligned to industry standards, and relevant to the needs of students;

To build partnerships and alliances with business, industry, labor, post-secondary institutions, and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education;

To accept nothing less than accountable, high quality, and adequately funded career and technical education for our students.
